Situation: Ranjith is a Hindu convert from Jharkhand. His mother passed away giving birth to him. He father remarried, but his step-mother wanted nothing to do with him. Ranjith was kicked out of their home when he was a small boy and used to steal food and eat out of trash cans to survive. A good Samaritan found him and brought him to a boys orphanage hostel where he lived until he was 14 years old. When Ranjith turned 14, the rules of the orphanage required him to move out.
